Our conceal carry class was hosted by Border Patrol agent Alex Gonzales. He did an excellent job of giving us the foundation for shooting from concealed positions.
Our 'take home' was that we need to practice - practice - PRACTICE!
So we are scheduling another Conceal Carry practice, where a quick review and live fire practice is planned. Dates will be posted on the February calendar shortly.
Conceal Carry Practice
Concealed carry and shooting bring much responsibility requiring a proper mindset and much training and practice. They require much time, effort, and money for training and acquiring the best firearm for your use and the proper equipment, holster, and gear. They require you to think ahead and not make the common mistakes made by new concealed carry licensees and shooters. With planning and proper decision making, you will be confident knowing that you’re properly trained and equipped to carry concealed, shoot, and to defend yourself and your family.
NRL22 Rifle Shoot - Tuesday 1/29/19
Time Change to 12-30p,
Our range is part of a national program with the NRL22.org, shooting 10/22 rifles.
Each month a new course of fire is published by the NRL22 and our scores are combined with the other ranges nationwide.
This is a fun shoot - we shoot from 25 yards to 100 yards, steel and paper. There is one stage which requires us to shoot off a sawhorse and the back of a chair. We can do this!
Come on down, give this one shoot a try. Don't have a 10/22 rifle.... just let us know!
January 30th, 9am -Noon
We will have pistol coaching for those who want a bit of help getting back on track with pistol shooting. Fee is $20. Space is limited. Contact Bonnie Fogg
That's a Wrap!
Nicely done everyone! Without your support we would not have touched so many families!! 322 cards were purchased, a total of $16,612 was received ... there are still a couple of checks to arrive, hence the $16,800.
