This Weeks Updates 2/4/19

The Butterfly people yesterday saw Border Patrol and Mission police using lights and sirens. They WRONGLY assumed these officers were escorting a trackhoe to begin construction on the wall.

I called the Mission Police Department to get the truth:
1. The officers were not escorting the trackhoe. They were doing a smuggling bust.
2. The trackhoe is not for the wall construction. It is working on the reservoir project.
3. There is no plan to restrict access to the levee by Mission police.

Rumors about the wall spread like wildfire. Fortunately, there is no truth to the latest set.

The range is in good shape for early February. John de Leon is working to add more steel targets to the long range rifle range.

A couple of our .22 rimfire shooters were hitting the steel out at 200 yards.

Enjoy these warm days and come down to shoot.
