Sadly the range remains closed. The trenching and lighting is complete. The concrete crew is working 18-hour days. Hang in there.
If you need to get some trigger time, head to Shooters Alley in the morning, stay for lunch. They have the best burgers and enchiladas!
To everyone, do NOT drive down the dirt road from the BP camera tower to the river. This is the road that is on the east side of the gun range. This is the road between the gun range and the sugar cane field. This is the dirt road that the Border Patrol uses.
This is a private road owned by Mike Rhodes and used by Fisher Industries. It is not a public street. Both Mike Rhodes and Tommy Fisher have prohibited traffic on the road. This road will have a gate soon. There are no traspassing signs posted. The dirt road is patrolled by the Fisher security.
Part of the problem is that 4 wheelers from wherever are trespassing onto the sugar cane property by using this road.
WARNING: DO NOT DRIVE ON THE PRIVATE DIRT ROAD GOING TO THE RIVER. BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN TO YOU.
The Fisher security crew are nice guys, but they are not to be messed with. They received their training from the military in the Middle East. Don't butt heads with them.
